SAN DIEGO—May 28, 2014—CaVU Consulting, Inc., a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business, earned certification from the State of California as a Disabled Veteran Business Enterprise, which gives access to the state’s contracts dedicated to small businesses.
CaVU CEO George Arthur said, “CaVU’s new designation by the State of California allows us to provide technical services to our home state in addition to continuing support to our federal partners. We are grateful to be able to grow our enterprise where veterans apply their specific skills to a range of customer challenges.”
Notification from the California Department of General Services congratulated CaVU on the certification and earning the right to compete for contracts set aside for small businesses. The State of California has a goal to spend 25% of its annual contracting dollars on small businesses.
The Disabled Veteran Business Enterprise designation also provides for a preference on contract solicitations.
