CaVU Consulting, Inc. is seeking a Senior Program Management Specialist to work in San Diego. This position will provide direct acquisition & programmatic support to the PrincipalAssistant Program Manager (PAPM) of Network Services & Transport for PMW160. The ideal candidate will have contemporary C4I and DoD acquisition experience at the SPAWAR enterprise, expert level knowledge and usability of MS Office Suite and Writing Skills.

SCOPE OF WORK: This position will provide direct acquisition & programmatic support to PMW 160 PAPM-Network Services & Transport.

  • Schedule, plan, track of all data calls and action items
  • Administrative support, manage calendars, review of Naval correspondence
  • Prepare and maintain of management data
    • Management reviews
    • Progressive reports
    • Maintain and update databases/spreadsheets
  • Acquisition Documentation
    • Review acquisition documentation, briefs, and reports
    • Coordinate, Review, Maintain & Track Acquisition Documentation
  • Project Plans & Guidance Documents
    • Project schedules and briefings
    • Project data maintenance on web sites, intranets, servers, hard copy binders, and other media
    • Prepare Project Plans (Communication Plan Working Group)
    • Guidance Documents (Strategic Plans & Roadmaps)
    • BAM Performance Agreements
  • Meetings and Conference Services
    • Coordinate Special Events, Meetings, Conferences & Work Groups
    • Secure Rooms for Program Meetings
    • Notify Participants, Provide Agendas-Directions & Arrange for Appropriate Equipment (Projector, Computer, Telecon, VTC, etc.)
    • Provide supporting documentation
    • Represent PAPM (when not available to attend)
  • Status Reports
    • Monthly Status Report (Internal & External)
    • Weekly Status Reports
    • Weekly Hit list
  • Research and Documentation
    • Investigate, conduct surveys, & compile statistics in order to prepare reports, correspondence, messages, & memoranda
  • Graphics Support
    • Prepare and develop graphics, briefings and multimedia presentations

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Undergraduate degree, related work experience may be substituted for a degree on a year for year basis
  • 7-8 years DoD experience
  • 2-3 years C4I/Acquisitions experience
  • Expert level knowledge and usability of MS Office Suite, Adobe Professional with emphasis on MS PowerPoint, excel, project and outlook.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with the Space and Naval Warfare Systems command
  • Familiarity with Naval Operations/Communications
